Spotscale – Buildings visualised and decoded in 3D
Spotscale helps real estate owners assess their buildings´ condition through photorealistic 3D. Using imagery captured with drones as input for advanced computer vision and machine learning, Spotscale’s software enables building owners a fast and safe way to inspect, measure and analyze their properties. This gives a better understanding of the renovation needs and hidden heat leakages through automated tools, pointing at enormous cost-saving potentials.
Lately, Spotscale has seen a fast-growing demand from its customers in real estate, facility management and energy, now entering larger partnership deals.
Technology
The scalable cloud software platform is processing billions of pixels of building imagery monthly, growing a vast database of machine learning input. Utilizing state of the art algorithms for computer vision and machine learning, Spotscale is able to detect and quantity building parts to generate digital twins.
The methodology in four steps
- Capture thousands of images (normal and thermal images) of the building with the help of drones – through external drone operators.
- Compute the data with Spotscale’s proprietary algorithms.
- Visualize the data in a 3D-model available on-line.
- Analyze the model, looking for renovation needs, heat leakages etc.
