Peter Tornberg, CCO at OX2 who will be speaking in the program Future Flow of Energy, will be reflecting on the trends in energy and says: ”Society is moving into a phase of electrification of everything and this will mean not just the demanded transformation to renewable energy but also a considerable increase in actual demand for electric power. In this context, we will have to be able to adjust and move power from stationary to flexible”.

Peter Tornberg describes his move from 12 years as responsible for wind power development at Swedish Vattenfall to OX2 as a journey into a much more fast moving and commercial landscape, for good purposes. OX2 offers renewable energy solutions at scale.

”We don’t build to own, we plan and build projects for those who will own which makes us much more fast moving. There is so much that needs to be done in such a short time, and our role in the energy transition is to build and plan fast so that more is happening at scale globally” says Peter Tornberg.

As an industry pioneer OX2 is available in 11 markets, recently adding Australia, and has a strong track record from being the leading provider of onshore wind in Europe. Peter Tornberg will open up the first part of the ambitious stage program at Sweden Sustaintech Venture Day which will deal with ENERGY GENERATION. OX2 builds and finances projects of onshore and offshore wind, solar as well as storage, and will offer invaluable experiences to the audience.

”At OX2 we see possibilities and not challenges, and if we are doing more business, we make more money, and are thereby able to take on more projects, in the end resulting in
larger climate impact. As we do not own the constructed projects we are more flexible to move on, leaving the ownership to large infrastructure funds or companies, and take on
the next projects” says Peter Tornberg.
