As the company advances toward its next-generation reactor and prepares for commercial-scale development, we spoke with Erik Odén, Head of Strategy, Co-founder, and Chairman, about Novatron’s current position, its forward roadmap, and the role of investors in accelerating the transition to clean, limitless energy.
Where is Novatron in terms of market position and development at the moment?

Our breakthrough technology, validated through the integrated plasma-experiment and development platform Novatron 1, positions us as the first and only private company in the EU to achieve this milestone.
What is the plan ahead?
Our goal is clear: to build the world’s most cost-efficient and robust fusion reactor — delivering clean, abundant power to the grid. This decade, we will design, build, and commission our next breakthrough: the Novatron 2. With this reactor, we will demonstrate full fusion conditions and validate our unmatched efficiency, paving the way for scalable, commercially viable fusion energy. This is not just an experiment; it is a foundation for a global energy transformation.
