Interview with David Fauné, Co-Founder and CEO: Driving an electric vehicle should be a flawless experience, according to Northe. The company was founded in Stockholm by David Fauné, Stefano De Colli, and Tamas Hess in 2020. David and Tamas had been working together at Tech Buddy, and they realized that charging an electric vehicle is not simple. According to them, there was a need for a one-stop platform for all types of EVs.

Payments and administration in the EV landscape are big issues, especially for companies with commercial fleets. Northe has created a platform to address these issues; a solution to simplify charging for both companies (B2B) and drivers (B2C). Northe Business takes care of administration, and consolidates all charging activities and the reporting – typically for EV operators, leasing firms, car rentals, or taxi companies. Northe Driver enables private as well as business drivers to charge their vehicles and access a wide network of different charging operators across Europe.

The Northe platform has the possibility to be used in many markets, which is an advantage for businesses, especially for car rental companies. Some of their clients are Avis (car Rental), LeasePlan (Fleet Management), and BRING (Logistic) – the Swedish and the Norwegian Post office. Northe has connected with a large network of public, semi-public and private partners in order to expand over the world. Today, Northe is available in 18 countries, making it easy to travel.

Northe recently launched a payment solution, Northe Property, a charging solution designed for property owners. Northe Property offers charging for residents, visitors, and employees. Another feature being worked on is ”plug and charge”, meaning that you can plug in anywhere, and the charger knows who you are and where to charge.
